Cute cozy spot for some good ramen! My husband had the Evil Dunsuco ramen and I had the spicy dunsuco ramen. The spicy ramen was just enough heat for me, however the evil one was too spicy. My husband's nose started running...haha...but he loves spicy food and ate the whole thing! He said that he's never had a ramen that was that spicy. It was good, he said, but not sure if he'd get it again. He might just do the spicy ramen and ask for extra spice on the side if he wants to add a little more heat. We also had the gyoza and edamame which are our favorite and go-to appetizers. My 8 yr old son had a kids ramen. Actually not sure if they had a kids menu, but we ordered a basic dunsuco ramen that was not spicy with egg, seaweed and shrimp tempura on the side. He devoured the whole thing. Food came out quick, and our server was helpful in helping us decide which ramen to get since it was our first time there. Highly recommend checking them out.

I stopped by Donsuco Ramen after a beach trip, and it offered a solid, straightforward ramen experience. The menu was short and simple, which I appreciated--sometimes fewer options can be a plus if you're looking for a no-fuss meal. The ingredients were clearly listed, and they did a nice job of explaining the base of each broth. I usually go for Tonkotsu ramen, but they didn't have it on the menu, so I decided to try something different and ordered the spicy miso. The noodles were well-cooked, and the broth had a good amount of flavor, but I found it a bit hard to judge since I don't typically gravitate toward miso ramen. I prefer heavier, richer broths with more depth, so this wasn't exactly my style. Still, for what it was, the ramen was solid, and the price was reasonable. While I wouldn't call Donsuco a standout, it delivered an authentic ramen experience that might appeal to someone looking for something simple and satisfying. If you're more into light, miso-based broths, this spot might be more up your alley. For me, it was okay, but nothing extraordinary.

Been to a lot of ramen places in Japan and I think this is the best in Tampa I've tried. Also nice to see a little touch of the capsule machines, which are ubiquitous in Tokyo.

I really liked this place. Authentic Japanese food it is not, but if you're a little weeb just looking for a hot bowl of soup in a really cute themed restaurant, this place is fantastic. The service was impeccable and the food was all great. I'd definitely come back here on future trips to Tampa.

Cute small no frills eatery. Seating is somewhat limited, but we had no issues finding a seat. The ramen bowls are huge and pack a lot of flavor. There was both pork and ground meat in my ramen along with an egg, so it's definitely filling. The spicy edamame are pretty good. They good probably use a bit more flavor throughout. If you're in the area and want some pretty legit ramen, look no further.

First timer at Dosunco and I was impressed by the taste of the ramen! I ordered the Spicy Ramen and it was very delicious. I paired my ramen with a green tea and a side of takoyakiz, which was also blessed by the chefs behind the counter. It's a small location in the corner of a small plaza in the heart of Tampa. Limited parking just like everywhere else in Tampa. Our server was very kind and not intrusive. I definitely enjoyed my time and the food. Will be back again when I'm in the area and in the mood to get spicy for lunchtime.

*Parking is limited , and this place stays pretty busy. We arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday night and the dining room was full and 2 groups were waiting. The kitchen is small and efficient while the entire staff (of 4) stayed moving the whole time. Tables were cleaned and ready for seating within minutes of each guests departure. Our server was polite but obviously doing a lot of tables so visibly anxious about keeping everyone happy while also keeping the dining area clean. We ordered Takkoyaki appetizers and the house ramen, one regular and one spicy. It's a great little spot for an inexpensive dinner as long as you don't mind the wait, our whole dining experience was just under 1.5 hrs (from arrival) which is pretty good still for a Saturday evening. We will be stopping by again in the future, cheers!
